Islamabad, 11 Sept : A truck carrying flax Sseeds from Afghanistan to Bharat was set on fire in Pakistan. Pakistan has started interrupting trade between Afghanistan and Bharat. Afghanistan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said that the truck was attacked near a police checkpost in Balochistan province of Pakistan.

Taliban claimed that its containers are being confiscated by Pakistan at Karachi Port. Pakistan claimed that the goods confiscated were sensitive. Taliban also claimed that the soldiers posted at Torkham were repairing a check post. Pakistani soldiers started the firing complicating the situation.

Pakistan Closes Torkham Border with Afghanistan

Taliban said that Pakistan’s action is aimed at disrupting Afghanistan’s trade. It has warned Pakistan as Islamabad is dependent on Afghanistan for several goods.

Pakistan has closed the Torkham border. Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Momtaz Zahra Baloch said Taliban soldiers first opened fire on the Torkham border.

The confrontation between Afghanistan and Pakistan increased as the Taliban captured several villages in Pakistan’s territory. Pakistan claimed that the border was sealed because of the excess of Taliban into its territory. Baloch referred to the incident in Chitral and claimed that TTP captured several villages, where firing still continues.
