Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra’s new song Keemti from their upcoming film Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue was released today, October 3. The makers of the highly anticipated film had earlier released the peppy number Jalsa 2.0, which quickly became a fan favorite. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on October 6, 2023.

The song celebrates unconditional love and features the lead actors lip-synching to the lyrics while surrounded by picturesque trees. In the video, Akshay and Parineeti play Mr. and Mrs. Gill, hinting at a love story in the film.

Based on a True Story
The film is based on the true story of the 1989 Raniganj Coalfields collapse in West Bengal, which trapped around 65 workers. The film follows engineer Jaswant Singh Gill and his team as they race against time to rescue the miners.

The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor. It was originally titled The Great Indian Rescue but was later changed to The Great Bharat Rescue. The film will clash at the box office with Thank You For Coming, produced by Rhea and Ekta Kapoor.
