Islamabad, 12 Aug :- Balochistan leader Anwar Ul Haq Kakkar has been made the caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan. President Dr Arif Alvi appointed Kakkar on the recommendation of the outgoing Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and supported by the opposition leader Raja Riyaz.
General elections are due in Pakistan and are likely to be held soon. Riyaz will work till the election of the new government.
Riyaz is one of the founder members of the Balochistan Awam Party. He thanked the government for giving him the opportunity to serve the nation.
