New Delhi, 21 August : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has targeted the state government in Karnataka over the deteriorating condition of farmers. union Minister of State and BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar said in a press conference on Monday that the agriculture sector in Karnataka has been completely ruined. This situation is challenging for the farmers.

He said that many districts in Karnataka are facing drought, and the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and State Agriculture Minister have not left Bengaluru. His travel is limited only between Bengaluru and Delhi. The ministers are not concerned with the problems of the farmers. They don’t even care about the pain of the farmers. He alleged that water was being released to Tamil Nadu by bowing to political pressure despite the pathetic condition of the state’s farmers.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka have announced the release of 10 TMC Cauvery water without consulting their colleague ministers. Ministers are bowing down due to pressure from the DMK under the arrogant alliance of the UPA. The farmers of Karnataka are facing the brunt of this kind of politics.
