Aligarh, 21 August : union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah reached the exhibition ground in Aligarh on Monday and paid tribute to former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh on his death anniversary. On this occasion, Amit Shah said that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, feed lotus on 80 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh and make Modi the Prime Minister. This would be the true tribute to Babu Kalyan Singh.

Home Minister Amit Shah said that Babu Kalyan Singh was a symbol of ideological hard work, administrative efficiency, and immense sympathy towards the backward and the poor. When Kalyan Singh became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, he focused on three things. Speeding up Ram Janmabhoomi. Putting the BJP’s idea of poor welfare on the ground without disturbing social harmony, crores of backward people were benefited. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking these three works forward today. In the field of poor welfare, Narendra Modi worked to fulfil the pledge of poor welfare by giving gas stoves, electricity, toilets, drinking water, health facilities, five kg of food grains, and many other facilities to all the poor in the houses of crores of poor.

Shah said that Kalyan Singh never talked about casteism but always worked to strengthen the backward castes. Backward castes got maximum facilities even during Modi’s tenure. Apart from this, the National Commission for Backward Classes got constitutional status during Modi’s tenure, gave reservations to OBCs in the NEET exam, and gave 27 percent reservations to backward communities in Navodaya Vidyalaya and Sainik Schools. The central government did a lot of work within nine years. Worked to advance a backward society.

Congress was stalling the issue of Ram Janmabhoomi.

Amit Shah said that since independence, the Congress party has been stalling, hanging, and diverting the issue of Ram Janmabhoomi. Narendra Modi did the work of Bhoomipujan of Ram Temple without shedding a drop of blood by bringing the decision of the court.

The Home Minister said that Kalyan Singh’s unique contribution to the Ram Janmabhoomi movement cannot be forgotten. When Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Ram Mandir, I called Babuji on that day, and he said that my life has been blessed. My life’s goal has come to an end today.

The BJP reached out to the masses under the umbrella of Kalyan Singh.

Shah said that Babuji had a mass base among every class. Kalyan Singh started fear-free and corruption-free governance in Uttar Pradesh for the first time. Babuji was such a huge banyan tree, under whose canopy the organisation flourished in Uttar Pradesh and the BJP reached the masses.

He told me that when I was made in charge of Uttar Pradesh, I had no knowledge of the state. Babuji made me sit down and apprised me about the nuances of Uttar Pradesh. He always acted as a guide. The result of this was that Uttar Pradesh broke all records under Modi’s leadership. The BJP won 73 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, BJP State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, State General Secretary Organisation Dharampal Singh, MP Rajveer Singh, and many central and state government ministers were participated.
