Nagpur:-12 February The CBI raided residential premises of Vishal Khandelwal, one of the Charetered Accountants of former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, on Satuday morning.
The raids are considered to be in connection with the money laundering case against Deshmukh.
The residence of Khanelwal at Verage Green Row House, on Koradi Road, was raided by the leuths of CBI on Saturday morning. The raid was carried out for about two hours, without informing the local police. Two vehicles of the CBI official reached Khanelwal’s residence in the morning and left after about two hours. The officials did not inform aboutseizure of any incriminating documents at the Khandelwal’s residence.
On getting information local police reached the spot. However, they were deployed only at the gate for not letting in any person inside.
The other residents of the society, were also surprised about the movement of the CBI and other officials. Similar raids are also learnt t be carried out at several other places connected with the case.
