New Delhi, 28 August : An update has come out regarding the Chandrayaan-3 mission. On Monday, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) shared information on X that on August 27, the rover found a 4-metre-diametre crater located 3 metres ahead of its location. The rover was ordered back on track. It is now safely moving on a new path.
Earlier on Sunday, the payload fitted in the Vikram Lander gave information about the temperature on the surface of the moon. Now Pragyan has started digging at the south pole of the moon. During this time, there has been a lot of difference in temperature outside and under the surface, due to which scientists are surprised. The temperature of the moon is 70 °C, but within 10 cm from the surface, it is 50 °C.
