New Delhi, September 4: To commemorate the first anniversary of Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Indian National Congress party will organise ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in all the districts across the country.
Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that on September 7, the Bharat Jodo Yatra will be organised in every district of the country.
Venugopal said during a press conference held at the party headquarters on Monday that September 7 is the first anniversary of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. On this occasion, Congress will organise the Bharat Jodo Yatra in every district of the country from 5 to 6 p.m.
Venugopal said that the event will be led by Congress leaders, people associated with the Congress Working Committee (CWC), state Congress presidents, Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leaders, in-charges, former MPs, ex-MLAs, and other senior people. There will also be a Bharat Jodo meeting after the visit.
It is noteworthy that Rahul Gandhi started the Bharat Jodo Yatra on September 7 last year. During this, Rahul travelled more than 4 thousand kilometres along with other party leaders. He started his journey in Kanyakumari and ended in Srinagar.
