There is a softening trend in the price of crude oil in the international market. Currently, Brent crude is trending around $75 per barrel, and WTI crude is around $70 per barrel. However, public sector oil and gas marketing companies have not made any change in the prices of petrol and diesel.
According to the website of Indian Oil, petrol remained at Rs 96.72 and diesel at Rs 89.62 per liter in the capital Delhi on Monday. Petrol in Mumbai costs Rs 106.31 and diesel costs Rs 94.27 per litre. At the same time, petrol is being sold at Rs 106.03 and diesel at Rs 92.76 per liter in Kolkata, while petrol is being sold at Rs 102.63 per liter and diesel at Rs 94.24 per liter in Chennai.
In the international market, Brent crude is trading at a level of $ 74.90 per barrel, down by $ 0.09, or 0.12 per cent, in early trade on the first day of the week. Same, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude is also trending at the level of $ 69.26 per barrel.
