New Delhi: Crude oil prices continue to rise in the international market. In the last 24 hours, the price of Brent crude has increased by almost two percent to $ 84 per barrel and WTI crude has also reached close to $ 78 per barrel.
However, public sector oil and gas marketing companies have not changed the prices of petrol and diesel in the domestic market. According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol remained stable at Rs 96.72 and diesel at Rs 89.62 per liter in Delhi on Wednesday. Whereas in Mumbai, petrol costs Rs 106.31 and diesel costs Rs 94.27 per litre.
Petrol is being sold at Rs 106.03 and diesel at Rs 92.76 per liter in Kolkata, while petrol is being sold at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24 per liter in Chennai. During the opening trade on the third day of the week in the international market, Brent crude is trading close to $ 83.63 per barrel with a slight decline of $ 0.05, or 0.06 per cent. At the same time, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude jumped by $ 0.08, or 0.10 percent, trending close to $ 77.22 per barrel.
