Washington, 22 Aug (HS): Former USA President Donald Trump has plans to surrender on Thursday in connection with the Georgia election case. Trump himself announced on social media that he has decided to voluntarily surrender to Georgia authorities after being charged in the state’s 2020 election subversion case.
Eighteen others, besides Trump, have been charged with 12 offences. Trump has agreed to $200,000 bond and other conditions. The traffic around Fulton County will be stopped to prevent any untoward incident. The 18 accused were granted time up to Friday to surrender.
