Delhi, 10 September (H.S): British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who came to participate in the G-20 summit being hosted by India in the national capital, Delhi, reached Akshardham Temple sometime early this morning. His wife, Akshata Murthy, is also with him.
Rishi Sunak gave information about this programme on Saturday. Expressing pride in his Hindu roots, Sunak was confident that he would find time between the conferences to visit a temple in India. Sunak also praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi a lot. He had said that he has immense respect for Prime Minister Modi.
Rishi Sunak had told the media that he was proud to be a Hindu. He was brought up in this environment. Recently, we have celebrated Rakshabandhan. Meanwhile, before Rishi Sunak reaches Akshardham temple, Delhi Police has made tight security arrangements there. Akshardham Temple is a major place of literary-cultural confluence. This temple is also known as Swaminarayan Akshardham. Located on the banks of the Yamuna River, this temple has been constructed according to the Vastu Shastra and Pancharatra Shastra.
