New Delhi, September 9 (HS): Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz have reached Delhi on Saturday to attend the G-20 summit.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted that Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav welcomed Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at Delhi airport.
Bagchi said that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has also reached Delhi to participate in the G-20 conference. He was also welcomed by India. Olaf was received at the Delhi airport by union Minister of State for Micro and Small Scale Industries, Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma.
Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is on a visit to India from September 9–11. During this visit, he will attend the G20 Summit in New Delhi on September 9–10 and continue his stay in India for a state visit on September 11.
