New Delhi, 8 September : Delhi Police has beefed up security in the Majnu ka Tila area in view of apprehensions of protests by Tibetan refugees. The reason is that at every international event, Tibetan refugees keep trying to demonstrate in Delhi to convey their message to the world.

G-20 Summit Preparations: Delhi Police’s Ban on Demonstrations

Police officials say that in view of the G-20 summit in the national capital, full vigilance is being maintained. Tibetan refugees do not miss the opportunity to tell the world about China’s illegal occupation of Tibet and the genocide there. Experts say that these people have been given asylum in India, but they are not allowed to protest politically as a matter of policy. Anyway, in view of the G-20, there is a ban on all kinds of demonstrations. That’s why it is a good step by the Delhi Police.
