G-20: UK PM Sunak and Japan's PM Kishida reaches Delhi

New Delhi, 8 September (HS): The United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida arrived in Delhi on Friday to attend the G-20 summit. Both leaders were welcomed.

Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Environment, Forestry, and Climate Change Ashwani Kumar Choubey received Sunak at the Delhi airport. Sunak has visited India for the first time as Prime Minister.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida was also received at the airport. During this, artists also gave presentations in front of both leaders.

Italy’s PM, Georgia Meloni, and Argentina’s President, Alberto Fernandez, have also reached Delhi. While US President Joe Biden is reaching Delhi in the evening,
