New Delhi, 8 September : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed happiness over the arrival of United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to India.

PM Modi Welcomes UK PM Sunak to India, Looks Forward to Productive  G-20 Discussion

PM Modi tweeted on Friday that you are welcome, Prime Minister Sunak. PM Modi said that he is looking forward to a productive discussion at the G-20 Summit.

Expressing happiness at reaching India, Sunak also tweeted that he had reached Delhi ahead of the G-20 summit. He said that together we would discuss all the challenges that the world is facing. We can find solutions to these challenges only by working together with each other.

Modi, Georgieva Look Forward to Discussing Global Economy at G-20 Summit

Prime Minister Modi also responded to a tweet by International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva in which she wrote that she looks forward to productive discussions with world leaders at the Leaders’ Summit.

PM Modi replied to Georgieva’s tweet, saying that he agreed with Georgieva. Let us all work together and try to mitigate the grave challenges of our time. We will also work to ensure a better future for our youth. PM Modi said that he welcomes Georgieva and thanks her for showing affection towards Indian culture.

In fact, when Georgieva reached the Delhi airport today, artists from Odisha welcomed her with Sambalpuri singing and dancing in front of her. During this, Georgieva encouraged the artists, and Georgieva also tried to support the dancing artists.
