Greater Noida, February 25, 2026:
Greater Noida is set to host a major four-day flower exhibition at Samrat Mihir Bhoj City Park from February 26 to March 1, offering visitors an immersive experience of floral artistry, cultural programs, technology displays, and public participation. The event, organized under the direction of Greater Noida Authority CEO NG Ravi Kumar, will transform the city’s largest public park into a vibrant landscape filled with seasonal flowers, themed installations, and entertainment for residents of all age groups.
Preparations for the exhibition are in full swing, with extensive beautification work underway at the park, popularly known as City Park. Fountains have been repaired, decorative structures are being erected, and landscaped areas are being enhanced to accommodate floral displays and visitor facilities. Entry to the exhibition will remain free for the public, encouraging widespread participation and ensuring accessibility for families, students, and senior citizens.
One of the main attractions of the exhibition will be large-scale floral installations created entirely from fresh flowers. Among the most prominent displays will be a symbolic floral depiction inspired by Operation Sindoor, portraying Bharat Mata with a ceremonial tilak on her forehead. In addition, intricate floral sculptures representing India’s national bird, the peacock, as well as lions, heart-shaped designs, and other artistic forms will be showcased throughout the park. These installations are expected to become major visual highlights and photo attractions for visitors.
More than 100,000 seasonal flowers will be displayed during the exhibition, filling the park with color and fragrance. The theme flower for this year’s exhibition is calendula, and in line with this theme, calendula plants have been extensively planted not only within City Park but also along major roads, roundabouts, green belts, and central verges across Greater Noida. These flowering plants have already bloomed, contributing to the city’s overall beautification and reinforcing the exhibition’s visual identity.
As part of the Authority’s broader urban landscaping initiative, 40 roundabouts, 45 green areas, and 17 central verges have been placed under adoption for maintenance and beautification. These areas now feature enhanced floral arrangements and landscaping elements, reflecting a coordinated effort to improve public spaces and strengthen Greater Noida’s environmental and aesthetic appeal.
For the first time, the flower exhibition will include a drone show, which is expected to be one of the event’s most prominent attractions. The aerial display will combine technology and visual storytelling, offering spectators a modern entertainment experience alongside the traditional floral exhibition. The inclusion of advanced technological elements reflects the Authority’s effort to blend nature, innovation, and public engagement.
The exhibition will also feature demonstrations and displays related to artificial intelligence and robotics, providing visitors with exposure to emerging technologies. These displays are designed to attract students and young visitors while promoting awareness of innovation and digital advancement. By integrating technology into a traditional flower exhibition, the organizers aim to broaden the event’s educational and cultural scope.
Cultural programs will be held throughout the four-day event, offering continuous entertainment for visitors. Students from schools and colleges across Greater Noida will be given a platform to showcase their talents through performances and competitions. Scheduled activities include dance performances, musical presentations, poetry recitations, and theatrical productions.
Street plays will be performed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the reuse of waste materials. These performances will focus on promoting sustainable practices and encouraging citizens to adopt environmentally responsible habits. The inclusion of such awareness programs highlights the exhibition’s broader social message, combining cultural celebration with environmental education.
Food stalls will also be installed within the park, offering visitors a variety of refreshments and enhancing the overall festival atmosphere. The presence of food vendors, cultural performances, and floral displays is expected to create a lively and family-friendly environment throughout the event.
City Park, one of Greater Noida’s largest and most prominent recreational spaces, will remain active and vibrant during the four-day exhibition period. The park’s landscaped lawns, decorative installations, and seasonal flower arrangements will create a visually appealing setting designed to attract thousands of visitors over the weekend and beyond.
Officials emphasized that preparations are progressing on schedule and that all arrangements will be completed before the exhibition opens. Visitor convenience and safety have been prioritized, with facilities being organized to ensure smooth movement, accessibility, and comfort for attendees.
According to Lakshmi VS, Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Noida Authority, preparations for the grand flower exhibition are progressing steadily and will be completed on time. She stated that residents can enjoy the exhibition at City Park over the weekend and that public participation will play a key role in making the event successful. She added that the exhibition has been designed to appeal to everyone, from children to senior citizens, and that special attention is being given to visitor facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The Greater Noida flower exhibition has emerged as one of the city’s significant annual public events, combining horticulture, cultural expression, environmental awareness, and technological innovation. With large-scale floral installations, interactive programs, and community participation, the exhibition is expected to strengthen civic engagement while highlighting the city’s commitment to urban beautification and public recreation.
