The Greater Noida Authority successfully concluded its much-anticipated Cleanliness Ranking Competition with Sector 1’s Stellar One Society securing the first position in the residential category. The initiative was launched to encourage housing societies, educational institutions, and commercial establishments to maintain higher standards of cleanliness and environmental responsibility across the city.

In the residential category, Stellar Jeevan Society, also located in Sector 1, secured the second position, while AWHO Township, Chi-2, claimed the third spot. Consolation prizes were awarded to Eldeco Mystic Greens Apartment Owners Association, Omicron-1, and Purvanchal Silver City 2, Phi-2, recognizing their notable efforts toward maintaining hygienic and well-managed premises.
Under the non-residential category, Pragyan School, Gamma-1, emerged as the winner. Delhi Public School, Gamma-2, secured the second position, and Bennett University, Techzone-2, stood third. Consolation awards in this category were presented to Bethany Convent School, Delta-2, and Crowne Plaza, Surajpur.
The prize distribution reflected the Authority’s commitment to promoting civic responsibility. Winners of the first position in both categories received ₹1 lakh each, second-place holders were awarded ₹75,000 each, and third-place winners received ₹50,000 each. All consolation awardees were given ₹25,000 each as recognition of their contributions.
The awards were presented during the closing ceremony of the four-day Flower Exhibition held at City Park. Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar graced the occasion as the chief guest and distributed prizes to the winners. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the importance of flowers in human life, noting their presence from birth to the final rites. He highlighted that such events enhance urban beauty and strengthen community engagement.
The MLA appreciated the efforts of Greater Noida Authority CEO NG Ravi Kumar and other officials for successfully organizing the event. He expressed gratitude to residents across the district for participating in large numbers and acknowledged the contributions of schools, industries, and commercial establishments in making the exhibition a success.

ACE0 Shrilakshmi VS thanked the chief guest and participants for their active involvement. She urged citizens to contribute towards increasing greenery and maintaining cleanliness across Greater Noida. She also appealed to all bulk waste generators to process waste within their premises to help keep the city clean and sustainable.
The Flower Exhibition, organized from 26 February to 01 March, showcased over 70,000 flowers representing more than 50 varieties. The vibrant display attracted more than 3 lakh visitors from across the district. Various schools, institutions, and organizations participated enthusiastically, presenting innovative floral arrangements and landscaping concepts.
Senior officials including OSD Abhishek Pathak, Girish Kumar Jha, General Manager Sandeep Chandra, Deputy General Manager SK Jain, Senior Manager Ajit Bhai Patel, Deputy Director Horticulture Natholi Singh, Assistant Director Horticulture Buddh Vilas, Manager Prashant Samadhiya, Mithilesh Kumar, and several other officers and staff members were present at the closing ceremony.
The Cleanliness Ranking Competition reinforced the message that collective civic efforts can transform urban spaces. Winning institutions reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining even higher standards of cleanliness and aesthetics. With active participation from residents and institutions, Greater Noida continues its journey toward becoming a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful city.
