New Delhi, September 9 (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that in the coming times, India will become a medium for economic integration between West Asia and Europe.
Prime Minister Modi said this while addressing the Partnership for Global Infrastructure Investment (PGII) and India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor programme at Bharat Mandapam.
Modi said that today we have all seen an important and historic agreement being concluded. In the coming times, it will be an effective medium for economic integration between India, West Asia Sarkar, and Europe. This will provide a sustainable direction for connectivity and development across the world.
He said that strong connectivity and infrastructure are the basic foundations of the development of human civilization. India has given top priority to this subject in its development journey.
The Prime Minister said that we have implemented infrastructure projects in sectors like energy, railways, water, and technology parks as a reliable partner in many countries of the Global South. In these efforts, we have placed special emphasis on a demand-based and transparent approach.
