Indian Space Research (ISRO) Chairman S. Somnath has congratulated all the scientists associated with the mission on the successful launch of Aditya L-1. He said, Aditya L-1 spacecraft has been successfully placed in an elliptical orbit. It was successfully launched by PSLV. For this, I would like to congratulate PSLV for such a unique feat. Aditya L-1 has embarked on a very long journey. It will reach the Langres point of the sun after 125 days.
ISRO shared information on X that the launch of Aditya-L1 by PSLV-C57 was successfully completed. The vehicle has precisely placed the satellite in its intended orbit. ISRO says India’s first solar observatory has started its journey to the destination of the Sun-Earth L-1 point.
