Washington, 05 Sept : First Lady of USA, Jill Biden, has been tested positive for COVID-19. White House reported that mild Corona symptoms were observed. US President Joe Biden, however, reported negative.
Jill suffered the coronavirus infection in August last year. Joe Biden also suffered from the infection in July 2022.
Doubtful of Joe Biden’s participation in the G-20 summit in New Delhi
With the infection detected in the White House, Joe Biden’s participation in the G-20 summit in New Delhi is doubtful. The White House, however, has not issued any statement about it.
Biden, who was enthusiastic about attending the G-20 summit, was disappointed as Chinese President Xi Jinping was not attending. Biden was scheduled to reach India on September 7 and hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 8.
