New Delhi, August 25 : Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia released a coffee table book by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) on Friday on the traditional and vernacular architecture of various terminal buildings at international airports. This coffee table book introduces you to the terminals of 19 airports in the country.

This coffee table book aims at promoting the cultural heritage of India and putting it on the global map. These terminal buildings are imbued with the spirit of heritage, making them not only memorable structures but also symbolic expressions of the country’s identity. The terminal buildings stand not just as physical entities but as the embodiment of an idea that reflects the culture, tradition, and art of India. These terminals are set to become a symbol of pride for local communities and a source of national inspiration.

Civil Aviation Secretary Rajeev Bansal, Civil Aviation OSD Chanchal Kumar, BCAS Director General Zulfiqar Hasan, DGCA Vikram Dev Dutt, and AAI President Sanjeev Kumar were present on the occasion.
