Mauritius attending G-20 Summit as 'Special Invitee'

New Delhi, 09 Sept (HS):- Mauritius is an invitee nation for the G-20 Summit being held in India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a discussion with Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth on the sidelines of the Summit. Mauritius is participating as a ‘Special Invitee’ in the Summit.

Jugnauth thanked Modi for inviting him. Modi appreciated the active participation of Mauritius in meetings of Action Groups and Minister-level meetings related to the G-20 Summit. Various events are being organised to mark the G-20 Summit in Bharat and the completion of 75 years of relations between Bharat and Mauritius. Both the leaders recalled the tours of more than 30 delegations and the signing of 23 bilateral agreements during this period. The bilateral talks have increased during the last year.

Jugnauth congratulated Modi for the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission and expected further cooperation in space missions.
