Nagpur Test: India scores 151 runs for 3 wickets till lunch on second day

Nagpur, 10 February : Under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India has scored 151 runs for 3 wickets till lunch on the second day of the first Test match being played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium here. Captain Rohit Sharma is playing on 85 and Virat Kohli is scoring 12 runs.

India started playing ahead of today’s score of 77 runs for 1 wicket. The only wicket for India on the first day was that of KL Rahul, who fell to Todd Murphy after scoring 20 runs.

On the second day, today’s unbeaten batsmen Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin played carefully and brought the Indian innings past 100. On a total score of 118, Ashwin was dismissed lbw by Todd Murphy after scoring 23 runs. With a total score of 135, Murphy dismissed Pujara to take his third wicket in the match. Pujara scored 7 runs. After this, Kohli and Rohit did not allow any more damage and took India’s score beyond 150. Todd Murphy took all three wickets for Australia.

Australia scored 177 runs in the first innings, Jadeja took 5 wickets

Earlier, Australia’s first innings was reduced to 177 runs. Marnus Labuschagne scored 49 for Australia, Steve Smith scored 37, Alex Carey scored 36 and Peter Handscomb scored 31 runs.

Ravindra Jadeja took 5 wickets from India. Apart from Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin took 3 wickets, Mohammad Shami and Mohammad Siraj took 1-1 wickets.
