New Delhi, 14 September : Opposition parties, including Congress, have expressed their displeasure over the special session of Parliament.
Congress leader Venugopal criticizes government over lack of transparency in special session agenda
Senior Congress leader KC Venugopal, while talking to the media on Thursday, said that the government has called a special session of Parliament from September 18 to 22, but the complete agenda of the special session is not clear yet. He said that the one or two issues that the government has shared under the pressure of the opposition are not enough.
Venugopal said that the Modi government is continuously attacking democracy. This government does not follow rules and regulations. He said that the parliamentary agenda of the government is not transparent at all.
RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha has also raised questions regarding the special session of Parliament. He said that the agenda had to be cleared beforehand. This government is making fun of the parliamentary system.
NCP MP Supriya Sule said that she goes to Delhi for good discussions, debates in Parliament, and to contribute to building a strong nation with good policies, but the atmosphere there has changed. This government does not even share the agenda of discussion with the opposition.
