Kinshasa (Congo) 01 Sept :- More than 40 demonstrators against the UN were killed by the security forces in African country Congo. The Congo military initiated action against violent demonstrations in Goma city of Congo on Wednesday. The media was informed about seven deaths only.
The army has confirmed that more than 40 people were killed.
Video of violent demonstrations against the UN became viral on social media, which shows attack on a policeman. The policeman died as people pelted stones upon him. People were demonstrating against the UN Peace Mission and other foreign organisations.
The army initiated action against the demonstrators following death of a policeman. The UN said that it is conducting enquiry about deaths of the demonstrators. Regional Spokesperson of the Army reported only seven deaths. The video on social media
shows the Army personnel dumping dozens of dead bodies in a trolly.
