New Delhi, 28 August : Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 51,000 appointment letters to newly appointed armed personnel through video conferencing on Monday morning. The employment fair was organised at 45 places across the country.

Citing the example of Uttar Pradesh, the Prime Minister said that the local economy gains momentum when the rule of law and governance are established. He said that once, UP was far behind in terms of development and far ahead in terms of crime. But now that the rule of law has been established, UP is touching new heights of development.

Through the Rozgar Mela programme, the Ministry of Home Affairs has organised various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) such as the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Recruitment of personnel has been done in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), as well as the Delhi Police. The newly selected personnel from across the country will contribute to various categories of posts like constable (general duty), sub-inspector (general duty), and non-general duty cadre posts in various organisations under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister also addressed the newly appointed personnel. The Prime Minister congratulated those who became Amritrakshaks in Amritkal and said that the employment fair is being organised in such an atmosphere when the country is full of pride and confidence. Chandrayaan-2 and its rover Pragyan are continuously sending historical pictures from the Moon. At such a time, you are about to start the most important journey of your life. Newly recruited personnel are also getting an opportunity to train themselves through an online module ‘Karmayogi Prabandh’ on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. More than 673 e-learning courses are made available for anywhere, any device’s learning format.
