Raigarh, 06 September (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit to Raigarh on 14 September. In view of PM Modi’s meeting, State BJP President and MP Arun Saw and Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel will come to Raigarh on Wednesday, 6th September. Modi will address a public meeting in Kodatrai. It may be noted that the PM’s meeting was earlier proposed on August 17-19, but his program was postponed at the last moment.
The national leadership of BJP is very cautious regarding the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. This meeting of PM Modi is going to be held at Kodatrai, five to seven kilometers away from Raigad city. Veteran BJP leaders inspected the venue of the meeting on Saturday. It included state in-charge Om Mathur, co-in-charge Nitin Naveen and state president Arun Saw.
BJP’s preparations for the PM’s visit have intensified since last one week. From the arrangement of the synagogue to gathering the crowd, continuous meetings are being held. Two days back, union Health Minister and Chhattisgarh’s co-election in-charge Mansukh Mandaviya has taken a meeting of the core committee of the five Vidhansabha of the district.
According to the information received from party sources and district administration, PM Modi will come to Raigarh on 14th September. District Collector Taran Prakash Sinha and SSP Sadanand Kumar have received the initial information about PM’s visit. Modi will come to Jindal Airport in a special aircraft. From where the helicopter will go to Kodatrai.
The state leadership selected Kodatrai for the general meeting of PM Modi because through the general meeting of Kodatrai, apart from Raigarh assembly, Kharsia and Chandrapur assembly constituencies can also be focused. In this connection, the State BJP President and Leader of the Opposition will hold an important meeting on September 6 at the District BJP office.
