Delhi, 10 September (H.S) : World leaders are joining PM Modi at Rajghat in Delhi to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the second day of the G20 summit. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, World Bank President Ajay Banga, WHO Chief Tedros Adhanom, and IMF Chief Kristalina Georgieva have arrived. Key decisions taken by world leaders yesterday included the launch of a rail and port connectivity network linking the US, India, Saudi Arabia, and Europe; the launch of the Global Biofuels Alliance; and a call to end the global confidence deficit. Another major development was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation to the African union to join the G20 as a permanent member, a move that India has been proposing for a long time.
