PM to distribute appointment letters to over 51,000 employees today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly appointed youth in government jobs through video conferencing today at 10:30 a.m.

During the event, The Prime Minister will also address the gathering on the occasion.

According to the government release, the job fair will be organised at 45 places across the country. The main event of this job fair being organised as a national campaign will be held in Hyderabad. Through this job fair programme, the Ministry of Home Affairs is recruiting various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) like the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). India is also recruiting personnel in the Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), as well as Delhi Police.

The newly selected personnel from across the country will contribute to various categories of posts like constable (general duty), sub-inspector (general duty), and non-general duty cadre posts in various organisations under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Rozgar Mela is a major step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation. The newly recruited personnel are also getting an opportunity to train themselves through the online module ‘Karmayogi Pradhan’ on the iGOT Karmayogi portal.
