PM wishes athletes participating in Khelo India National Winter Games

New Delhi, 11 February : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday wished the athletes participating in the third edition of Khelo India National Winter Games held in Jammu and Kashmir.

PM Modi tweeted, Congratulations to all the athletes participating in the 3rd Khelo India National Winter Games. The Games are being held in the picturesque surroundings of Gulmarg. This will also promote sports culture in J&K.

Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur on Friday announced the commencement of the third edition of the Khelo India Winter Games in Gulmarg. The union Minister was joined by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, other dignitaries and young athletes, coaches and staff.

The Winter Games will be held in Gulmarg till February 14 and more than 1500 athletes from 29 states and union territories will participate in 11 different sports.
