New Delhi, 09 September (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday held separate bilateral meetings with his British counterpart Rishi Sunak and Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida on the sidelines of the G20 summit.
Sharing pictures of the meeting on Twitter, Prime Minister Modi said that India and the UK will continue to work for a prosperous and sustainable planet. Modi said it was great to meet Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Delhi. He said we discussed ways to deepen trade ties and promote investment. India and the UK will continue to work towards a prosperous and sustainable planet.
Prime Minister Modi also held a bilateral meeting with his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida on the sidelines of the G20 summit. Prime Minister Modi said in his ex-post that he had a fruitful conversation with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. We took stock of India-Japan bilateral relations and the ground covered during India’s G20 Presidency and Japan’s G7 Presidency. We are keen to enhance cooperation in connectivity, commerce and other areas.
