Nagpur, 27 February: A case has been registered against union Minister Narayan Rane and his son MLA Nitish Rane, for making derogatory statements against late Disha Salian.

Following Rane’s statement parents of Disha had lodged a complaint with the Maharashtra Women’s Commission. The Commission after due enquiry concluded that Rane’s statement has no substance and a complaint with Malwani Police Station in Mumbai was lodged.

Rane had stated that Disha was raped a murdered and had alleged that she was shifted to her house in a car, owned by some bigwigs.

Nitish Rane too had made similar allegations in this connection. Frustrated by continuous use of the incident of suicide by Disha Salian, her parents had appealed to the politicians, not to use the case for political purpose.
