Moscow/New Delhi, 11 Aug : Russia launched Luna-25 Moon Lander on Friday with the help of a Soyuz-2 rocket. The Moon Mission was first after 1976. India Space Research Organisation (ISRO) congratulated the Russian Space Agency Roscosmos.

While congratulating Roscosmos ISRO said, it is wonderful to have another meeting point in our space journies. “Wishes for Chandrayaan-3 and Luna-25 missions to achieve their goals”. The Luna Moon Lander is also expected to land on Moon’s surface on August 23. It was launched from Vostochny Cosmodrome, at 8.10 am local time.

Luna-25 will search for the existence of Oxygen on the Moon’s surface and its internal structure. Chandrayaan’s aim is a soft landing on Moon’s surface. Both the spacecraft will land at different places. Luna-25 will carry out research on Moon for about a year, while Chandrayaan-3 has been designed to work for two weeks.
