Senior Women’s Trophy matches in Ranchi from Feb 1-7

Ranchi, 31 January : The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) will organise the knock-out matches of the BCCI Senior Women’s Trophy from February 1 to 7. All the matches will be played at Ranchi’s JSCA Stadium and MECON Stadium.

All three matches of the pre-quarterfinals will be held on February 1. The quarter final matches will be played on February 2 and 3. The semi-final match is to be played on February 5 and the final of the tournament on February 7.

JSCA secretary Devashish Chakraborty said that six teams have qualified for the pre-quarterfinal matches. These include teams from Railways, Karnataka, Vidarbha, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Teams from Kerala, Delhi, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh have qualified for the quarter-finals.

The pre-quarterfinals of the tournament will see a clash between Railways and Tamil Nadu. The second pre-quarter final will be played between Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh while the third pre-quarter final match will be played between Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. The winners of the pre-quarter finals will take on Kerala, Delhi and Punjab in the quarter finals.
