New Delhi, August 24 : Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief S. Somnath have been congratulated on the success of Chandrayaan-3.

In a letter written to ISRO chief Somnath on Thursday, Sonia Gandhi said that she is thrilled with the success of Chandrayaan-3. It is a matter of great pride and enthusiasm for all Indians, especially the younger generation.

Sonia Gandhi said ISRO’s outstanding capabilities have been developed over decades. Many people have contributed significantly to this. She said that she wishes the entire ISRO family the success of Chandrayaan-3.

Chandrayaan-3 made a successful landing on the lunar surface on Wednesday. This mission will reveal the secrets hidden at the South Pole of the Moon. Chandrayaan-3 has made India the fourth country to reach the Moon and the first country to reach the South Pole
