Nagpur, 22 November : Sensation prevailed following firing at Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur premises by a paramedical student on Monday evening.
The student of Bachelor of Paramedical Technology (BPMT) allegedly put a revolver at a girl student, undergoing internship after completing MBBS degree course for not talking to him. He later on fired in air to threaten her.
The case appears to be a one-sided love affair. The firing, however, rattled the doctors on duty. They rushed to the spot and helped the girl student. The boy fled the spot.
The girl later lodged a complaint with the police. Although names of the victim and the accused have not been mentioned, as the exact details of the reason behind the incident have not been ascertained as yet. It is also stated that the boy had not used the gun and was only a toy resembling a gun.
