Gwalior, 01 September: Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia inaugurated the two-day B-20 International Aerospace Conference organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Gwalior on Friday with the aim of promoting the potential of the aviation industry and investment promotion. Chanchal Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, was present on the occasion.
At the launch of the programme, union Minister Scindia said that despite geopolitical challenges and supply-chain logistics issues, India has emerged as the new ‘promised land’ with the potential to innovate, produce, and provide skilled manpower. Thus, it is time for global aerospace manufacturers to collaborate, brainstorm, make in India, and, in turn, make for the world.
He said that it was a pleasure to share his views on building an inclusive value chain in India. He assured continued government support to take the aerospace manufacturing industry forward.
At present, the conference is going on. union Minister Scindia will hold discussions with global industrialists from the aerospace sector. More than 35 industrialists, policy experts, and representatives of G-20 countries are involved in the conference as speakers. Also, more than 250 participants from India and abroad are participating in the conference.
