Kathmandu, 12 Aug :- World Elephant Day was celebrated at Sauraha in Nepal, one of the major tourist spots. The elephants were served cake after their ‘Puja’ was performed. A special meal was served to them.
Organiser of the event Krishna Prasad Khatiwada said that about 150 elephants were brought for a sort of picnic for them.
