The Fresno Police Department has officially refuted social media claims suggesting that Goldy Brar, a gangster implicated in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, was killed in a recent shooting in California. The clarification came after rumors circulated that Goldy Brar was one of two men shot during a confrontation at Fairmont and Holt Avenue in Fresno, with one fatality reported.
Lieutenant William J. Dooley of the Fresno Police addressed the speculation, stating, “We can confirm that the reports claiming the shooting victim was ‘Goldy Brar’ are absolutely not true.” He emphasized the spread of misinformation via social media and various news outlets, which prompted global inquiries to the department.
The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Xavier Galdney, putting to rest the erroneous connections to Goldy Brar. Satinderjit Singh, known as Goldy Brar, remains a fugitive, internationally wanted under a Red Corner Notice by Interpol. Goldy Brar, a reported key figure in the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, gained notoriety after claiming responsibility for the assassination of Sidhu Moose Wala in May 2022.
